Before you prepare your baby
for the baby's bath make sure you have the following
items ready:
A
change of clothes
The
baby’s diaper
Baby
lotion
This will make sure
your baby will not be cold and will prevent the baby
from catching a cold.
Step:2
This process will help with
the cradle cap to go away. Before bathing the baby make
sure you put baby oil or olive oil on the baby’s hair.
Gently massage into baby’s scalp and leave it on for
about 10 minutes. Then gently brush the baby’s hair with
a soft brush. And finish up with a gentle shampoo.
There are many baby bathing
soaps and shampoo that state that their brand does not
cause irritation to the baby's eyes, however, these
soaps are irritants, do not allow the soup to enter the
baby's eyes. Also, pay close attention to the baby's
ears; don't allow a large amount of water to enter the
baby's ear.
Step:3 Always check the water before bathing your baby. The
water should be lukewarm, not too hot and not too cold.
Take the washcloth and wash the child's face. Then wash
the child’s chest, arms and hands, making sure to
cleanse thoroughly between his/her fingers, and baby's
back. When you're finished, dry your baby thoroughly
with a towel. Make sure that all the
creases and folds of skin are well dried. This
will help prevent your baby loosing heat.
Tips
When purchasing baby
products always check their content, ingredients, and
expiration date. Pay close attention to how your baby
responds to the products you buy; certain products can
cause allergies to some babies.
Warning
Never, EVER leave your
baby alone, even for a second.
